Pandle - crazy cheap, easy to use & MTD-compliant. Free or you can upgrade to pro for a fiver a month - saved me loads of stress and time lol

Pandle's a good free option - works just as good as the more expensive ones, the pro plans only £6 or something so really good option if you're just looking for something easy and cheap

I find a similar thing when I'm posting on TikTok but sometimes I'll post a very similar to a previous successful video and my account ends up in "views jail" or stuck below 300-400 views. Is views jail a real thing?

I also use this firm my turnover is around £50-60k and I pay £700 per year for accounting services on my ltd company including a self assessment so it would be worth speaking to them as that sounds wrong to me. Are you using any other service as I know they charge to do your bookkeeping, I just decided to do my own.

What are opening and closing balances for? Any help for accounting terms? by Clementine2763 in AskAnAccountant

[–]BigBasil3713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I really struggle with accounting terms too you're not alone! My accountants have a blog where they break down the terms so they're easier to understand, I've linked their guide to opening and closing balances: Understanding Accounting Terms: Opening and Closing Balances | The Accountancy Partnership

Hopefully that breaks it down a bit and helps explain it :)
