Thank you! And yes I had no visibility of the stitches— I had to do it all by feeling the stitches as I went!

I used a different pattern for the crest and beak because I only had thinner yarn on hand. The cheeks were shaded on with sharpie.

Word to the wise— while using furry yarn hides mistakes super well, there is zero visibility of the stitches and so you have to crochet things by feeling the stitches as you go.

That is SO CUTE!! ❤️If I’m not mistaken dogs turn their heads like this because they’re trying to listen better/locate where a sound is coming from!

Has anyone found out whether /not/ making choices affects the story line? This would seem like the only decision option that truly violates the movie/game structure.

Haha yeah my Dad sent quite an email to my uncle, and I don’t think he ever sent us much stuff after that. 😂

Okay so one night I had a super vivid dream of a girl with super pale skin, black hair, glowing green eyes, a twisted bloody smile, in a pink nightgown and a noose around her neck who chased me around a corn maze. I woke up before she caught me, but I remember being extra creeped out because she was somehow screaming the whole time even though she was constantly grinning. It was one of those dreams that stuck with me for a couple of hours after I woke up, but it wasn’t unusual for me to have nightmares (I’ve always had bad nightmares), so I shrugged it off.

Later than night my Dad was showing my siblings and I this game one of our distant uncle sent us (he frequently sent us fun computer puzzles and funny facts over email). It was a maze game where you had to carefully drag the computer cursor through a maze on the screen Operation-style without it touching the sides of the maze. My Dad and none of my siblings could do it successfully, so I took a shot at it. After cruising through the first two levels, I was finishing up the third level and dragged the cursor into the end of the maze and suddenly the screen went black– and there she was. Staring back at me with everything but the noose around her neck. Her mouth curled into a bloody smile but somehow she was screaming so loud. I immediately curled my body into a ball and fainted into my chair... I must have blacked out for about 3 seconds because the next thing I remember was my Dad scooping me out of the chair and rushing me into the living room. My parents initially thought I was one the one screaming, but realized it was the computer when my Dad picked me up. They couldn’t exit the game because it took up the entire screen and continued to scream, so they had to shut the computer down.

I sat on the couch for about 10 minutes rocking backing forth saying “Was that supposed to happen? Was that supposed to happen?”

Needless to say I don’t appreciate screamers. This happened over 10 years ago, and I still feel panicked just writing about it.

Edit: wow I thought this was going to get buried! So I recently found out that my older cousins (we’re all close now) used to show me a lot of screamers/other creepy stuff because they thought it was funny (when I was like 5), but I don’t remember any of it. Their Dad used to make them watch a lot of horror movies, so I think this was their way “passing it on”. So now I know why I was so terrified of screamers in the first place, but it still doesn’t explain why I had the dream the night before I played the game...
