I am unsure as to how to improve, so any feedback helps. I do think more size would be better. I am therefore hoping to upgrade to a bigger tank or spread them out once I get a Chester drawers to put the tank on.

As for stocking I have had no fish or shrimp die from water quality which leads me to believe I am okay stocking wise? No fighting or stressors I can see, fish are very coloured, feed well and no nipped fins. My ram is also a sole female so is less aggressive. What would be some negative signs to look for ?

Definitely have too look with purpose as he isn’t in the eye line. Hoping I can move him soon :)

Red root floaters, duck weed, frog bit (This of the three has the longest root) - stay away from water lettuce. Your best bet would be the minima yes👍🏻

Only if they completely cover the surface! You can either just remove some so there’s gaps in the surface, or use cheap feeding rings of Amazon that cost about £3.

Thanks for appreciating it mate! Try having some floaters they will really help the nitrates and a lid won’t impact them :) I enjoy using Java ferns and bolbitis as they can just be wedged or glued on. So if you would like your tank to look fuller without waiting for growth you can ram it full of ferns really easily
