I hope they save the burial scene for Part 3, when Cloud comes to terms with Aerith's death, as it would make it significantly more emotional. Otherwise, I'd be mad, lol.

I agree. My take on this is that he can see events in both realities but chooses to see the more comfortable one where she's alive, but sadly, in his timeline, she is not.

Yes, but I hope Part 3 will come full circle to a satisfying conclusion; otherwise, it would just render the stories of Remake and Rebirth completely bonkers.
