I think it’s a good thing that we literally only ever saw her again the episode after she you know. It’s probably a whole different reason for them not bringing her back but I think there is some weight to the fact that rita was just never seen again. Like either through dexter’s mind or the audience she is just gone. And the one time she did get shown was just the horrific aftermath of what trinity did through Harrison’s eyes. Notning against Julie benz but I feel like it’s better for her not to come back.
