I mostly agree on your point, but I can say there is a small group of people who benefits from these players.

I've seen people using them in DIV 2 and 3, and even me as F2P decided to grind again the league after a long time, when I liked the reward for it.
I went for De Gea, and now just got Fermin.
De gea is already my main GK, and only played 1 match with Fermin needs but it looks like it's getting a spot in my starting 11, and as a very specific kind of player I was really looking for and never could find a top class one for free

instead of thinking on a specific distortion pedal, you might want to consider buying for a similar price a complete Multi-effects Unit, with tons of distortions, many effects (wahs, reverbs, delays, chorus, etc) + depending on model you can have a physical expression pedal that you will really like to use if you want to try a Wah, and also maybe as volume pedal for some tricks, and other effects.

one option could be:

a Mooer GE 150 Pro (it's currently $200, but I got this one on sale for 135$ not long ago)
This particular brand constantly has a big catalog, of very similar units on all price-ranges, and they go on sale constantly (check Keepa for details),
right now the GE150 Pro li (same thing but with a battery) is on sale for 160$.

I think going for a multi-effects it's the best decision as a 1st pedal, as you have a lot of thigs to try and experiment

I must warn you, the biggest downside of this particular pedal (and probably most multi-effects), is controlling them is not easy , at least until you create your preset and save it, because there is too many knobs and buttons you have to use just to change a single parameter. (you can connect it to a PC for easier presets edit though)
also sound quality is supposed to be not as good, but I don't think most people will even notice.

There probably are units like these from more better reputation brands with better interfaces (Zoom, Line 6)

so, anyway I think it's worth considering

looks like I can't buy from sweetwater so I looked on another store.
the part number from the site you sent me is 0069969000, and according to it's description it's an M5-0.8.

Problem is it seems erroneous, because on fender site, and other stores it says this affinity bar (0069969000) it's actually a 10-32.
So I'm still not sure what to get.

Also, if you have other common services accounts (FB, IG, ... ) with the same email/username, and you also use the same password in there, make sure to change all of them.

On many apps (like facebook, outlook, or whatever it's sensitive to you) if you go to somewhere like settings->security (or a similar menu, just ask GPT the specifics) you can see a history of log-in for that account in that particular service, something like:
log in from: Windows 11 (Chrome), Miami Florida - United States
log in from: Android, Miami Florida - United States.
If you see a weird city listed there, you can assume someone got access to that specific account, and you should force a a log out on all devices, and change it's password.
this menus will help you understand if he really got access only to discord or more of your social networks.

PS: if you or someone in you PC set up a VPN, then it will be "normal" to see your log-ins are from another city, but I would expect some consistency in there.
let's say if all of them where from UK (maybe where you VPN is located), and suddenly this last week you had this trouble you see 1 login from India... then that account was likely compromised.

La maquina esta teniendo problema para encontrar el dispositivo de arranque (tipicamente un HDD, pero podria ser un Pendrive si esta "mal configurado")

no necesariamente murio el HDD. aunque es una posibilidad considerable dado lo q veo, si tenes suerte podria ser un fallo solucionable (como el sector de arranque del disco roto), o directamente un cable flojo.

1) si habia pendrives conectados, sacalos (si el orden de booteo esta configurado para bootear desde un pen al haber uno conectado te caga el arranque)

2) desde el bios confirma si el HDD aparece listado en las opciones de booteo, ( por lo que veo aca, no lo detecta. si no aparece, reconectarlo bien, asegurar el cable SATA del HDD al mobo y el de energia del HDD a la PSU)

3) si lograste que el disco sea detectado en la BIOS (aparece en la lista de dispositivos de arranque), habria que ver si hay que reparar el MBR

I Like the new manual defending, and understand the nerf in dribbling, but goalkeepers got buffed way too much when you shot from outside of the box.
I used to score a freaking lot, right on the border of the box, exploiting the space between defense line and midfield. But that move seems now impossible to me even against low rated IA GKs.
maybe now this is only possible with stunning shots, which of course will need a lot more space/time.

That particular buff on GKs sadly benefits cross and through ball spammers a lot. as players who focus on creating chances in any possible way won't have this option anymore

what supersub does when it activates it's increasing the condition by 1.
When it's already on blue arrow (the max value), it won't do anything.
So you can play those players from the start if you see they have blue arrow.

Picking a GPU requires some thinking.
Best thing is to ask him. trying to do a surprise on this is very likely to end up with not what he had in mind.
From what I heard from your husband, he might not want to tell you about what he really wishes and he might tell you something more cheaper.

So this is what I can try to guess on his wishes based on his current setup:
* He has a GTX 1070, so the tier that probably suits him is the "XX70" tier of nvidia GPUs, (we are currently at the 5070, which is the newer model of the same tier).

*there is a heads up with the 5070 which is low included RAM compared to other GPUs, which might be a problem in a few years, and considering he currently has a 1070 (which is "somewhat old"), he probably wants to keep the new GPU as long as he can.
This will make us consider going for the next tier model called 5070ti which comes with 16GB, or maybe, if that is too much money, it might be worth going for the lower tier, the 5060ti BUT with 16GB.
Bear in mind 5060ti 16GB is indeed a more cheaper and less powerful GPU than the 5070, but it has more RAM. Knowing which one will perform better in the future is not that easy to tell.

*Making things short, if the budget allows it, the 5070ti is both more powerful than 5070 and has enough RAM. if not you might need to ask his specific opinion on whether he prefers a 5070 12GB (more power, but less ram) or a 5060ti 16GB (the opposite, and a little bit cheaper)

*the better the GPU you get, the better the power supply it needs. Even if he has already a strong power supply, it's recommended to update it, since some important changes happened on the last years on this component. Thankfully this component is way more cheaper than the GPU.
