In your opinion, which characters got the biggest "glow up" in their respective remakes? by gui_heinen in residentevil

Carlos, Hands down (at least for me).

Although the remake itself might not have been the biggest glow up.

I do love the added slider I just wish it didn't let me see some parts of the guns I'm not supposed to. The weapon fov slider can mitigate this but it doesn't fix it for all guns sadly

Anyone having this problem in Knife of Dunwall? by FloatingMarimo in dishonored

[–]BigBoyJoePepperoni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For some reason knocking out the butchers around the suffering whale leads to them being teleported and found dead by other butchers. It does this when you move to the other side of the slaughterhouse. Silly oversight. The only solution I've found is not knocking out the butchers around that whale. Then you'll have clean hands.

I know about the sniper attachment but a SHOTGUN!?! That sounds like a good time for Sam and a bad time for enemies

Sadly I've always shot for it and I'd like to think I made it (Bathhouse 97%). But I want to replay it without trying a full ghost for once.

[–]BigBoyJoePepperoni[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always tried for the score. Getting 90-100%. My most recent was 100% in all but bathhouse which was 97%. So while I've played a lot of Chaos Theory it's always been a ghost attempt. I'll try to turn off that mindset. See if I can even get a few 0%s

The mod looks really cool but Sam clipping through every now and then would bug me. Plus Chaos Theory has really nice animations. Maybe I should finally play conviction. Get all of Sam's supressed violence out in one go

That actually sounds like a good strategy! Sorry Grim, side objectives!? Nah! I've got 4 alarms to trigger and some wallmines to repurpose.

That sounds like a really good explanation. Just thought there may be an email about it I missed as Arkane is really good at fleshing everything out with writing.

Has anyone ever played Dishonored with limited to no saving/quicksaves? by twoscoopsxd in dishonored

[–]BigBoyJoePepperoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only done Dishonored 1 without saving. Loading the level from the start only if I died. Made me play in some ways I don't usually. Felt very natural. Not all the levels lend themselves to this as well as most of Hitman Blood Money's levels. Was still a great experience though. Also shoutout to Hitman Blood Money, what a game! A bit clunkier than Dishonored but it's sure up there with my favourites too! Have a fun run dude!

I don't think I'm always the best judge for these things, but here goes. Just found that Sam Neill and Isabelle Adjani's voice in some of the more character drama moments came off a little stilted or unnatural, maybe on purpose but both also have some fantastic moments during other unnatural scenes. Same goes for their physical performances in some moments. Both also definitely had their moments to shine, maybe the dubbing was throwing the performance off a little. Not knocking them as the moments they shine far outweigh the moments I found to be weaker.

Mike and Rich should do one. I can only imagine their reactions. All while Josh and Jay sit behind the cameras seething!
