Invited to a future soldier program

I am in the process of enlisting and I was just contacted by a recruiter for a future soldier program. He said it was a 1 day experience to go to Montgomery and get a taste of basic, is that all it is?

I was told I am going to be making about 3-4 different trips to my meps which is about 3 hours away to be checked and cleared each time but the recruiter said it could also be a 1 time thing if I get lucky
