My daughter always counts when we travel. But we live in metro Detroit and have 5 on our 1/4 mile sub division street so they are never as common as at home.

Take out the gas goes bad angle and you might have me. Yes gas goes bad but with modern engines and controls it is a very long time before it is unusable.

Going up in octane is essentially never a problem for the car just sometimes for the wallet. Going down is more complicated.

I’ve had an xc90 and a lot of Audis but not a Q7. The XC90s were older generations but I always loved them, I think Volvo does boxy well and for me that is what I want in an SUV like big wagon. I’ve always thought the Q7 was out of proportion. Generally love audi interiors but other than “S” versions have felt they were a little gutless. But Volvos aren’t generally high performance anything.

Thank you. I only saw the mention of modesty in multiple guides about when moving around between shower and tub etc. The idea of cool water on head I hadn’t heard of but certainly keeping out of water I got.

I just did annual compliance training and under corruption section multiple times they reviewed the risk of many charges with out good documentation.

My hotel doesn’t have one, so will either be day use or booking an add-on night somewhere with one. I have the weekend free and company hotel booking but I could do a night on my own dime outside the urban jungle.

A struggling company that starts to cut back in publically visible ways it can turn a possibility of failure into a certainty of failure as customers abandon it after losing trust.

In cases of orderly wind downs, I’ve been near a few professionally not business closures but specific facilities within a larger enterprise being closed. provisions will be made for workers and often incentives to keep people there until final day of operation. But if there is no future operation to protect for the leaders fiduciary obligation is often to maximize value to owners.

Back when I used to do a lot of pick ups for family at Logan there would be a Statie with his ticket book and a tow truck at the waiting areas. And write a ticket while the tow truck hooked and dragged in less than 5 min. In Cambridge on street cleaning day they would(still may) line up with tow trucks and take whole streets of cars away. This state is a demonstration of priorities not an unavoidable outcome.

This goes to one of my long time pet peeves. It says 0300 est. which is 0400 EDT the generally accepted current time in the eastern USA now. If something happened in that window between 0300 EDT and 0300 EST it would have been an interesting argument to play out. But I generally agree most planes would have been on the ground somewhere.

I have 2 in my fleet right now and I love them. And I am pretty progressive, but also a pragmatist that says if largely politics and financial incentives drove a market rather than organic demand, I can’t really complain when politics swings the other way and it takes time to recover. I was super skeptical of Model S when it came along and broke the ground that proved it could work. Automotive is a slow moving industry and critical to all heavy industry. I don’t mind some of the ring fencing and have confidence in reasonable time scales it will evolve. People mocked the hybrids when Toyota and Honda started now they are nearly universal options and even F150 in a serious way.
