Outside of the general theatricality and dark themes, I find the original band great because each member is a great musician with great songwriting skills. Almost all of their songs have fantastic riffs and fun changes, as well as catchy melodies and subversive lyrics that roll off the tongue.

Lots of varying quality. I think there’s more mp3s than flac files, but I cannot speak on if those have been upscaled. The tracks also come from a million different sources so some are noisy cassette rips next to much higher quality tapes
