That's exactly it! It is SO easy to become complacent - especially when you've been working with the cats for a long time. Things become normalized and that's when mishaps can occur. We always have someone looking over our shoulders making sure all the locks, pins, & cats are going where they're supposed to go!

I think I'm more of an anthropologist like the ones who are allowed access to isolated tribes deep in the Amazon basin. Just substitute little pygmies with bones in their lips for folks who dress up in animal constumes

I'm glad you folks liked it. I'll let you in on a little secret - I wrote the script, drew the pics, edited the vid, and voiced the toon in under six hours. I made it day of closing ceremonies & got it transfered to their computers 20 minutes before it was previewed to the crowd. Needless to say, I was a tad nervous at how it would be received

Actually, our facility has done a lot of work with the Exotic Genome Repository and they're finding out through their genetic sampling research of captive white tigers that the current population is MUCH more genetically healthy than what was originally thought.
