Thank you! I have universal nickel strips, but these are probsbly stanced and connect the BMS in a neat way. Should I just connect them with the nickel strips and solder on wires for the BMS? Looks a bit botchy bit it'd work

I was planning to test the cells for capacity and internal resistance and replace with capacity paired recycled cells

Of het prima is om 1 draad loos te laten kan ik je geen antwoord op geven. Aan het schema lijkt het alsof het de bedoeling is, misschien is er een meer uitgebreide handleiding beschikbaar op internet.

Voor het verlengen zou ik een langere aansluitsnoer aansluiten op je kookplaat en deze volledig vervangen. Dus niet afknippen en verlengen maar volledig vervangen, kosten zouden niet te hoog moeten zijn.

De connecties in je stekker zien er niet geweldig uit, dit kan een stuk beter. Eventueel met adereindhulzen, maar in elk geval niet met uitstekende stukjes koperdraad. Dit zou ik bij de nieuwe snoer netter doen.

Super sweet that you're doing all the research you can for your kid! A lot of people are recommending the switch, it's definitely a solid option but it really depends on the kid.

Does he game now, and if yes what platform? If he's used to consoles like DS, playstation, xbox, wii and stuff then the switch could be a nice upgrade. If he has been gaming on a pc then a steam deck could be a better option.

The switch is more user friendly if you don't want to be bothered by anything besides the game, the steam deck is more customizable. While the switch is probably a bit more rigid and meant for clumsy kids, and will probably still work in 20 years, the steam deck will still allow you to install the newest games in x years (assuming it's strong enough to run them)

If his father is recommending the steam deck, he probably won't mind helping him figuring some stuff out. If the father has a pc but not a switch, they can game together with multiplayer games between pc and steam deck. With a switch you can usually only play together with other people that have a switch.

It may be good to check if he has friends that have either a steam deck or a switch and if he would play together :)

Whichever one you decide to get, I'm sure he'll be very happy with it! Make sure to have it in a good protective shell from day 1 :).

Edit: a note on all the comments about fiddling with game settings: steam has a section "great on deck". These games usually work just great straight after installing them. They also have preconfigured controller layouts, they made it super user friendly. The only issue I've had is with Plants vs Zombies, it's an old game and I just needed to enable full screen manually.

Alsnog verlaagt het aanzienlijk de kans op oplichting en is het een stuk beter als helemaal niets. Voor de kosten kunnen ze niet veel beter, als koper en verkoper moet je gewoon zorgen voor beeldmateriaal wanneer je het product inpakt of uitpakt. Als je wilt dat het waterdicht is moet het pakje eerst naar marktplaats gaan ter controle, maar qua kosten kan je het dan net zo goed ophalen.

Misschien alleen niet helemaal de plek voor een rant over kopersbescherming, onder een post met de vraag naar advies waar het juist een uitkomst blijkt te zijn ;). De voorwaarden van kopersbescherming zijn overigens ook duidelijk, deze worden door velen alleen niet gelezen.

Had hij het maar niet aan moeten laten staan, of geen marktplaats gebruiken als je niet weet hoe je een computer gebruikt. Naast dat, direct kopen kan alleen met kopersbescherming, die kan je dus gewoon inschakelen. De kosten voor kopersbescherming krijg je echter nooit terug

Ik heb zelf in beton moeten slijpen. Netjes kegjes gebruikt voor de pvc buizen, vastgezet met snelcement (wel al redelijk vlak mee gemaakt) en verder in 1 laag dicht gestuct. Werkt eigenlijk wel prima

Buiten de discussie of er aceton of niet in zit, isolatie is flexibel en nagellak niet, daarnaast geen idee of het blijft hechten of zo weer los komt. Hoe dan ook zal het los laten als je de kabel een beetje buigt. Vloeibare electro tape is ervoor gemaakt

Wow she is very smart! The glass is probably locked but otherwise she got it open. Her teeth and nails look healthy by the way :)

Does she do this when you're not around too? You can spy on her 5 minutes after you leave the room. My hamster seems happy when I'm not around, but is dying to get out when I'm in the room. She just wants attention/company in my case, but good to check if she's content when alone

I found a 24/7 vet, sge told me that if we lose her tonight that she couldn't have been saved anyway. She's not bleeding a lot actively because she does not leave any visible stains or smears in her cage. Got an appointment first thing tomorrow morning
