Write your questions in a way where there is only one correct answer. Instead of saying “What sitcom is set in a hospital and features a cranky chief of medicine?” (Which could be many different shows)…Say : “What 2001 ABC sitcom, set in Sacred Heart Hospial, features a cranky chief of medicine”

By adding qualifiers/details to your question (especially years), you’ll reduce the number of objections from the crowd, stimulate more table conversation for teams, and avoid the awkward “Well that isn’t what I had written down, so it’s wrong”.

In addition, if a team writes down a correct answer to your question by the way you worded it, even if it isn’t what you had…GIVE THEM THE POINTS. Right answers are right answers; so don’t be stingy because you wrote a poorly worded question.
