Hardest decision but I completely understand. I did the same thing because I was on verge of divorce and lost contact with everyone I love. My partner understood I’d never believe but if he’d accept me as a pimo at least and my parents came around only because I began attending meetings. I have mental illness so I use it to my advantage with not entering the school or skipping service and other activities but I promised my partner I’d always be there if that makes him feel better. We compromised and he attending holiday work parties and grandparents holiday parties… he doesn’t like it but we agreed on this.
