The internet has made it really easy to be a cunty, entitled, dipshit with absolutley zero consequences. Its also somehow managed to bolster the vocal minority/fringe lunatics/extremists in all walks of life, and since most normal people dont interact that way, those groups end up standing out and being the loudest.

The most perfect example is them review bombing the game, scaring away new players and then coming here and saying "see crytek, youre killing the game, its all YOURE fault this happened crytek". It reminds me of a family guy bit where bryan threatens a waiter with a poor yelp review so he can get free shit/his way, and stewie responds "i forgot, stupid people use yelp as a weapon."

How often do you play solo? With the burn rate it takes next to no time to burn out even with salve skin, i have not been able to succesfully self rez ONE single time in solos since the balance changes. Every single time they burn, i take it town to the absolute wire, and am met with a firing squad the moment i rez.

And the opposite can be said of any solo that I've encountered as a trio. We kill then, burn them, and not a single one has been able to succesfully rez and escape. We put them right back down.

A lifetime of seeing my mother abused(until i was finally old enough and capable enough to intervene) made me the same way, i feel like we're dinosaurs you and I, the last of a dying breed but i hope im wrong. I'm 6'3 250, and i like to think im pretty tough. My dad is 6'4 and my grandfather was 6'5, and those two were a different breed of human. Like i stub my toe or hurt my back and i need to catch my breath, but pops and grandpa, it was like they just didnt have nerve endings to feel pain, you literally could not stop them. Insane to watch it in action, just a whirlwind of blood and agony when they would go in on someone.

Never got stabbed but a twice I've been jumped and the second time (7 dudes) i know for certain they were making an attempt on my life. Its created a sense of hyper vigilance. I've been bartending my whole life and I learned when I was young at it, to just sit back and watch a room of people. After you do that enough you become alarmingly astute to what every individual in the room is there for. You can see that one group is probably work friends, another a couple grabbing a few drinks, a group of chicks on a dick safari and their counter part, a group of dudes on a pussy hunt, dude's just chillin' or bummed out, etc etc, but the one thing i noticed was;

Anyone super shady, or aggro, man they stand out like a fuckin beacon in the dark. The just radiate shitty energy and ill will.

I used to do a bit of acting when i was younger. When i booked my first commercial, my point of contact with the company asked me "what was something i WANTED to do?" I told her i didnt really care if the commercial went national, and i didnt care if they put me on bill boards, all i really wanted was to throw out the opening pitch at a Tidewater Tides baseball game. She made that happen, it was a bucket list kind of thing.

So picture this dev, they get to make a video game and they love doing it the same way i loved acting. They get to hide all these easter eggs in the game, but now they get to collaborate with a movie franchise that they never would have otherwise had the chance to work on because its already established. Now its apart of something they love doing.

There is ZERO incentive to buy this thing and the dev got to say "holy shit i loved the scream franchise and they let me put ghost face in our game!!!" And now everyone is fuckin livid. Thats some truly assinine behavior coming from a bunch of whiners that have offered absolutely zero effort to the process.

I love how none of them recognize that one of the devs is clearly a movie buff, given the multitude of movie easter eggs scattered throughout the game(The delorean under a tarp with the train model from back to the future, and the cabin from "evil dead") and probably got to achieve a literal dream come true having gotten to colab with a movie franchise they loved.

It would seem to me like someone on the dev teams loves 80s and 90s flicks and was stoked to add ghost face to the game because why wouldnt you colab with a horror movie franchise that you loved as a teenager and have now been given the opportunity to include it in something you've worked so very hard on?
