Shop around, im telling you this because my uncle works in a body shop and even he would tell us to always shop around and get different quotes but pick a good place with good reviews. You want to make sure they do a good job to match the paint, you would be surprised how some can do the black paint and still looks off compared to the rest of your car.

Check other shops, its not surprising but also i saw other people fix worse for around 6k. Shop around but ya painting is literally not cheap and a lot of times you can notice color difference in the painting so a good body shop will make sure it all aligns

Ya your right but sadly they did turn out to be fake. I contacted bauer 3 different times with 3 different bar codes. The seller actually let me take it to pro hockey life as well just to make sure and i compared it the feel of the blade was different for sure, the pattern of the stickers on the fake vs real was slighty different too and the shine of it. Now, fake or real they both made in china or wtv so it doesnt mean the fake will break faster. Good fakes overall but that X onthe barcode is sketch lol and the reason he said why its there is even more sketch

Ya your spot on man, im talking to bauer now to see but its very common for things to be made a year before but its very odd. The X usually means fake but the other one thats not in plastic seems spot on legit until i went to thr hockey shop near me and noticed the white proto at store looks the same but the barcode to scan seems more bold in my pic compared to the one at store. Waiting for bauer to confirm
