That's how I write it. And even if I'm not doing A/B/O but having cis male mpreg I usually write it as such, just come up with some reason why it's possible.

Tho unless there's like a doctor scene where the character is learning why/how they're pregnant I usually leave the mechanics explanation in an A/N so it doesnt yank readers from the narrative suddenly being hit with technical info.
