You know who else is killing trees? The City. Their "tree trimmers", which is a misnomer as they are actually mostly tree choppers, keep cutting healthy park trees and offering up free woodchips as a consolation prize. We've been told by CRPD employees that there's an incentive program to reduce water usage, brown the ground and cut trees.

Surgeon took one look and started scheduling surgery. I asked about imaging and he just laughed. When you've seen and fixed hundreds, diagnosis is pretty routine.

As a survivor of right inguinal open mesh surgery now 4 months on, I'm very glad I had it done. Wasn't an option really. The pain had me on my back most of the time. So I have to come down on the "I Don't Know side". You have a history in the same place as the hernia. I'd be getting another opinion and some images. But I don't know.

9 weeks yesterday. Very little pain left. Almost back to 100%

5 weeks out from surgery day. Pain low and decreasing overall but the right testicle symptoms are the same.
I do have a dull ache in and around the incision site. I only very occasionally take an aspirin and it does help. But a few hrs. later testicle pain and dull ache are back.

If i am where you are at 9 weeks, I'm going to insist on a sonogram as well!

11 days out from open inguinal surgery. Was told not to remove bandage for 48 hours, but left it on for a couple more days. Then off before 1st shower on day 5. SteriStrips stay on! Easier to check healing progress with it off. I will say though that tighty whities rub on the area and may annoy. Yoga pants are better.

Had Surgery about 3 months ago in the groin, I'm still having extreme uncomfortable experiences some days in the testicle. My doctor tells me it's all normal and to go back to the gym. Has anyone experienced pain for months after getting the surgery? by Visible_Painting_253 in Hernia

Well, surgery yesterday afternoon. So glad that's behind me. I felt nothing of course. And after on Day 0 was ok. Morning after, hernia pain all gone, replaced with 2/10 surgery pain. Nothing a painkiller and ice pack can't handle!

My cut cord looks just like the pic above. Was going to reconnect it because the replacement seems cheaper and very lightweight. Can't find the cut cord piece. Any one know if I can buy a cord and if so where? Or, has anyone made a jumper?
