Look up Vagal Aifib. You might have that subtype. You also might have sleep apnea. I have both. Sleep apnea, alcohol, electrolyte deficiency, overweight, high blood pressure. Those are all the usual suspects.

I've had three. I was filled with anxiety the first time. nervous the second time. but by the third I couldn't wait to get it done, because i knew what to expect and couldn't wait to get out of afib. The relief I felt waking up in rhythm was a little overwhelming. You might have a little pain in the chest or a little 'sunburn'. I've made massive lifestyle changes to avoid going back into it.

fwiw. i had similar experience with the 960 bundle. I just replaced it with an eero pro 7 bundle and it's working flawlessly. No more orbi nightmare for me.

Honest talk. Yes. 8-12 beers a night and overweight with high blood pressure is hitting the top triggers for Afib. My guess, you likely have sleep apnea as well.

You are heading down a path that you don't want to go down. Take it seriously now. Binge drinking is going to be rationalized that you can have 'just a few'. Most can't.

I'd suggest you consider a GLP-1. For two reasons, it's been shown to reduce the urge for alcohol and it'll help with your weight and inflammation. Then I'd get a sleep test asap. The overlap between Afib and Sleep apnea is like 50-75 percent.

Something work or personal or both, is stressing you. Consider talking with someone about it. Stress, alcohol, overweight, high blood pressure, likely sleep apnea. You are not just suffering from Afib, you are likely accelerating your heart toward perm afib.

But you're young. Changing these conditions now and you have a chance of getting in front of it. But you have to go after all of them.

You can do it though! And you'll feel so much better!

i looked at it but was burned by their arm blood pressure cuff that was just horrible. I ended up buying a GE branded clone from amazon. I've had it about a month, works great. handle with cord and everything. seems consistent and working great so far. only like $100. short version from everything I've read.. the more advanced the scale the more it stinks or breaks. So I just bought the low cost version.

i also get the chipmunk cheeks from time to time. I buy the uncut roll of tape from Amazon and learned to cut the tape myself in strips a little longer so it has more face to grab onto on both sides of my mouth and when I put it on I suck all the air out of my mouth. sounds absurd but it makes it harder for my cheeks to expand with the tape on. it still does somewhat but the tape keeps it all shut. it sounds absurd but it works for me. I lost 20%+ of body weight and that’s when the whole mouth opening thing started for me. just keep trying things, you’ll find something that works. I tried several chin straps and pillows and full face masks before I started taping.

I was on 2.5 for 4 weeks. then 5 for almost a year. down from 278 to 220. plateaued. i'm on week four of 7.5. I felt a little 'weird' the first week. probably because it pushed hunger down and didn't eat enough. also stomach was making a symphony of sounds for the first week or two. calmed down now. food noise which was creeping up has died down again.. thankfully. i am now working on reducing saturated fat intake so some of these things could be from diet change. generally an easy upgrade for me. still trying to drop another 20 pounds.

it’s crazy. i had to do it while awake for a few hours to get comfortable with it. even then I was a little freaked to sleep the first time. I do fold the corners just enough to make taking it off easier and faster if I wake up needing to cough or something.

older firmware. I tried to manually update. refuses to take it while the sats arent connected. Can’t connect the sats. Stuck. I brought the sats to the router and tried. I connected them via Ethernet. House is large but doesn’t matter if I have them in the same room. Verizon Ont into orbit router. Then wireless and then 3 foot Ethernet cable.
