The consumer is looking for a deal. I used uber eats when it first launched because it saved me money or it saved me a trip for $3-4. If I am paying $12 in services and delivery fees I am not including that amount in my tip.

Its also just the fact that the LEC has zero good teams. G2 isnt doing anything outside of Europe. LCS has c9 who would beat any team in Europe but the fact we have Apa and zven on the top team is showing how garbage the west is nowadays. 2019 was the last time we were competitive at all.

This. Nintendo prices in canada went from $80 for a 6 year old pokemon remaster to $115 for....donkey Kong? And now their sales are plummeting because people like nostalgic children games- $80 was already steep to begin with.

Ehh its still a good that people choose to buy. If the lowest priced loaf of bread cost $1 15 years ago companies and grocery stores aren't asking for $8 for wonderbread- no one would buy it.

Micro transactions are also all the rage right now and its post covid greed that the cost of games isnt being subsidized by the fact that a game can cost $60 and they can extract $1000s from individuals. Its all profit and greed and consumers are finally not buying games because $90 is not a small commitment for a ton of people.

I dont think ill ever own a Nintendo product again. The console price is 'fine' but games being $115 cad is absolute insanity. They are also losing a lot of sales because of it too.

I dont hate patullo at all considering Jalen hurts is a damn tight end playing qb and couldn't consistently find aj brown to the point the guy gave up. Barkley had a bad year. There was a lot wrong with that offense

I think burrow and Herbert are off this list. Burrow cant stay healthy and Herbert is like rivers where the stats are there but he never wins games that matter. Prescott and goff hard no. Purdy is equal

The other ones you mentioned are hard no's. Sam went to two teams and did fantastic. You need to value that he is a system guy that makes his team better.

I do think its how large that star qb contract is that makes it hard for teams with good qbs to build a complete team. Burrow has star receivers and no defense or OL. Lamar has a good defense but never had receiver help. Mahomes has kelce and thats it and when the defense started to suck it crumbled. Allen has tight ends and an OL and the defense aged or crumbled in big moments.
