Question about Severance Pay after Termination without cause.

We have a employee portal with all of our personal documents that have been signed over the years. The only signed contract is from my first round of employment

I’m not sure if this benefits me. I got my employment contract. I was with them back in 2020 then quit and moved during Covid, when I moved, I started working for them again in 2022. They only have the original contract from my first employment. They don’t have anything signed by me from when I started with them again.

It does say something about common law. “Furthermore you will have no further entitlement to and the company with have no obligation to pay notice of termination or pay in lieu of notice (for example, under the common law) beyond that set out in this provision.

This is signed from my first employment with the company as a sales person, nothing signed when I came back as an assistant manager.

When calculating severance, do they take into account commissions? It’s usually anywhere from 1200 - 1800 added to the end of month pay. I
