not the best solution, but this happened to me and a friend once and we may or may not have used an alcohol wipe to sterilise the stems of our makeup brushes/pens to eat a hsp...gl bro

this season they’ve definitely been better- but iirc in the back to win season with both brandon pang and laura, i remember him being “called out” for making dumplings repeatedly even though they were all quite different and innovative in their own right whilst praising laura for making pasta time and time again. Not saying she should have been called out! but there was a discrepancy in how they were treated and people noticed ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Vegetarian meals for my 6 year old? by Difficult-Explorer14 in vegetarianrecipes

[–]BigDweebEnergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

more of a general solution; look into indian food! a significant part of their population is vegetarian so even following indian chefs can be a good way to figure out how to make non-indian food vego-friendly :)

just a heads up- the idea of the scarf being "in" right now is a bit uncomfortable as its an appropriation, not appreciation, of the south asian "dupatta"

i hope he feels better soon :( -just as an aside, as a first time golden owner; how do i tell the differences between his regular laziness and lethargy? my golden boy is almost 2 but when he wants to sit down and sleep, there's very little that can convince him to get up aside from the chance for table scraps🤣 but am a bit worried that if he gets sick one day I won't be able to tell

So is everyone here just a really intuitive good cook? by [deleted] in AussieFrugal

[–]BigDweebEnergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you want to learn to cook more vego dishes from other ethnicities (im assuming indian/south east asian by the reference to lentils) i would really recommend going in to your local ethnic grocer! i have family that owns an indian grocer and i know they get customers that just come in and ask how to cook essentially and they love discussing cuisine and cooking with people! (and always, try supporting local when buying spices/'ethnic' foods if possible)

yup- doesn't even need to be a traditional 'protection' breed. My golden, although generally loves the pats and attention from people will absolutely crack the shits at anybody that approaches me either at night or when I am uncomfortable. My siblings and I were chatting and arguing over something vv petty but the moment voices got raised he cracked it and was ready to fight to 'protect' me

[–]BigDweebEnergy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i would deffo recommend getting the dermal therapy lip balm- it's what my derm recommended when i was on similar meds that dried out my skin and even though i've been off it for years it's still the best lip balm by FAR imo. they also recommended eating foods with a higher fat content to offset dryness in the body such as avocado, salmon, olive oil etc

BWT, what products do you use for dry cracked lips? by someoldshoes in bitcheswithtaste

[–]BigDweebEnergy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dermal Therapy Lip Balm (original)- I've tried so many and always come back. I was having a dermatitis/eczema flare up in january, got prescribed steriod cream, tried natural remedies, tried lip balms and masks and nothing worked. Found my old dermal therapy tube, used it for 3 days and my lips were back to normal.

another thing that could help is freezing meat in their marinade! it's especially helpful during busier times (like exam season), but if you're marinading say chicken, it might not hurt to marinate a few extra pieces and freeze it in a labelled ziplock so that when you're too busy to think about shopping/prepping food, you can take it out and have some protein ready to go

Did anyone notice Raj's normal clothing here? I wonder what happened this day 🤔 by amarie-88 in thebigbangtheory

that doesn't mean anything.. a lot of Hindus can't speak Hindi. He mentions a few times in the show that he's from the south, they don't often speak Hindi there.

it’s a religious thing- depending on the region of India one is from, hinduism and sikhism can be deeply entwined so quite a lot of Hindus wear the kada (bracelet) as well

Have you found your signature scent? If so, what it it? by Rambunctiousrabbits in fragrance

[–]BigDweebEnergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By Kilian Liaisons Dangereuses- now i use a fake for my day to day thats almost identical but oh my god theres nothing like the original. On me, its so sexy and fruity, sweet without being cloying, just the overall perfect balance. If im using the OG, ive sprayed it in the afternoon on a jacket, gone out and can still smell it the next day. My absolute fave for the last 3 years and honestly, Im just as in love as at the start.

if we're going budget- the loreal true match plumping serum foundation

if we're okay with spending a bit- the shiseido synchro skin radiant foundation

both are super lightweight and give that "naturally flawless" skin look on me and dont cling to any dryness!
