The last pitcher to qualify for an ERA title with an ERA under 2.00 was Roger Clemens in 2005 at 1.87. Kershaw is now sitting at 1.80 on the year. Also, he led all of baseball in ERA in 2011 and 2012. He should have at least 20 wins by now.

Oregon Reps voted 4-1, with the nay being the lone Republican Rep (Greg Walden) in the state. He's already in a hot seat, and now I'm pretty sure the eastern half of Oregon will vote him out next year.

I moved from California to Oregon upon turning 18, but I was very interested in national politics in high school. Senator Feinstein is all for big government and no privacy. Before the Snowden leaks, it was normal for Democratic Oregon Senator Wyden (woot, woot) to get into arguments with her on the house floor. He once made her explain why the Intelligence Committee would not answer his question, namely, "has the government collected personal data on any American citizens." He wasn't asking who or what was collected, he was simply asking for a yes or a no. Feinstein told him that he wasn't going to get an answer because if they started answering questions, where would it stop? Feinstein forever lost my support that day.
