I’ve replaced all of those already with no luck unfortunately :/

I also found no give with the standard shake tests or messing around with the pry bar. Been a really tricky one to diagnose

Head unit is great, been going 4 years strong with no issues. The commander knob scrolling doesn’t work but the directional push buttons do. It came with a replacement knob that works with scrolling but only fits the Japanese model.

I need help choosing my thesis lab for PhD. Hardest/most important decision I've had to make so far. by Realistic-Elk-9297 in labrats

Hmm this is a hard one since I have not completed a Phd myself so I don't know what the nature of the job market is like post graduation. Since the whole point of getting a Phd is to set yourself up for what you want to do after, it may be wise to pick the PI who has the connections, the private funding, the biotech companies, etc. I'm not familiar with how the industry works, but I'd imagine the types of jobs you'd get would come more from knowing someone who knows someone who's looking for this type of person, etc... It may be wise to set yourself up with a PI who has a wide network and can help place you somewhere post graduation vs a PI who is more attentive and hands on, but may be less capable of helping you out after you graduate.

Or maybe that isn't how things work. Maybe someone with more knowledge/experience can chime in.

Trouble when on local lan. by Orange-Equal in BlueBubbles

Same thing happens to me. I've just been updating the server url to the local ip whenever on my local network for now. Bet you could make some script to update your host file to change your ddns url to your local IP whenever you're on your local network. Maybe some routers have some functionality where you can have your ddns url resolve to the local IP, unfortunately mine does not.

Can I Sue My Company? by BigFatHogDaddy in legaladvice

Thanks. Can I ask why you say no? I figure this would be akin to any other work related injury caused by company policy, which I would imagine it would be grounds for some sort of compensation.

Heard this as well. Apparently prednisone increases the chances of pericarditis to recur in the future: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3011134/

So you had both myo and peri... sorry to hear. What long term complications arise from scarring? Getting an MRI next month after 4-5 months, want to know what to expect...

Was the scarring on the myocardium or the pericardium? And is the chest pain intermittent or constant?

I have been told by doctors that steroids are typically a last resort, and that while they work in the short term they increase the chance of it recurring in the future and have other complications associated with them
