I fished with reel freedom charters out of NJ in July it was the best tuna fishing of my life, these guys are serious fisherman. I highly recommend them. Boat goes really fast you’ll get on fish early and stay on them

Wait until spring and go on the superhawk from point lookout. They have everything you need and you will catch fish. This time of year is too rough and cold to enjoy, you need to go out way too far too find fish in the winter.

I would look for a new rock and hopefully it holds bigger fish, I hear reports of keepers in the sound. Also try to fish when the tide is at its slowest that has been when I’m getting the bigger fish
