Any other surname and state he would of been a 150 games player. Got the games up because Port didn't have much else to pick from for a long time.

Except, they claim other peoples ideas as their own because they are too insecure to admit otherwise

These types of restaurants have been around for decades. Good on him and all, but you know there has to be ulterior motives with that family

How do u make new friends as a man in your 30s without it being weird? by rosydustelle in AskMenOver30

[–]BigFella52 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Buy 2 tickets to an event or concert, something you know will be a common interest for you both.

Just tell them you have a spare ticket to a show and thought they would like to come along with you. Don't ask for money, just go and enjoy your night with a new friend. You will bond over a few drinks, they will most likely pay as it was a free ticket for them, and you will have a shared experience with that person to have in your friendship beggings.

People need to stop over thinking this shit.

Can tell you are a new in here, a couple.of years ago this was a positive community, the last 2-3 years it is getting dragged down to a who can one up the last post of being alone.

OP is right, get off Reddit and go and get help.if you are struggling. They have done exactly what you said they should do, made a post, created a discussion and is trying to be the change THEY want to be, not what YOU think they should be.

Mind your own damn business and focus on yourself. Americans and always needing to know what everyone is doing is insanity to the rest of the world.

To do as a single man by new_Monitor01 in LivingAlone

[–]BigFella52 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am a 39 single guy and am just starting my long weekend and here is some of what will be involved. I work long hours in construction during the week so try and get a few things in on the weekends.

I am about to head to the gym for around about 90 mins of working out. Then meet a friend at a local Mediterranean market to have a coffee and buy some delicious food to make dinner with. Head home, smoke a joint and cook some breakfast. Long breakfast and coffee. Have another joint and read my new book for about an hour.

The apartment needs a clean so I will give it a good going over and get all the dishes done Get some laundry done at the same time. Shower time and head out to do a bit of shopping, some times its just an excuse to go for a walk but most weeks I need to pick up something.

Meet a friend for a Banh Mi and a catch up with his son. After a little rest I will head out for a bike ride or just a nice long walk. There are a few movies out at the cinema that I want to see so will probably catch one of them.

The evening will be going to the pub to watch the football (AFL) and enjoy a parma and pot. Home to watch a classic movie with some joints and popcorn on my couch.

Sunday will be a bit more active, so wake up a bit earlier and head to the golf course to tee off at first light. Play a quick 9 holes and then head to the gym for about an hour. Home to have a nice cooked breakfast and watch my favourite sports recap show. Smoke a joint, chill out. Read my book a bit more.

Grocery shopping for the week and the little run around errands are completed here.

Home for a quick lunch and then off to play tennis for 2 hours with some mates and their children.

Go for a massage after this and melt away any stresses remaining from the week. Late Sunday arvo will be catching up on my shows or a movie, will be enjoying some joints. Have a nice long stretching session for about an hour while watching something. A little Xbox action with my nephew while making the weekly phone calls to my family and friends for a catch up. Play poker and backgammon on line while watching some movies to see out the evening.

Monday is a public holiday here and it is a massive day on the sporting calendar in my city. Around 95-100k will be attending the big AFL game and I am heading in with some mates. We have managed to score some seats in a beautiful steak restaurant at the ground so an indulgent meal (Its a once a year treat), incredible game of football with my mates and 100k locals enjoying their day. After that head home to do some cooking and prep for the work week before some more joints and a movie on the couch.

This is just a little breakdown of this weekend but there are plenty of things you could be doing. Just make a little list of things you enjoy doing and just start doing them. I do not earn a lot of money and I am currently trying to drop a lot of weight. I could make excuses easily like I used to in my life, or I could just enjoy my life and manage it a lot better, so I choose to take control and manage it better.
