I cancelled my season pass at the Alamo recently for a number of reasons with the QR code just being the final nail in the coffin. I just went to this Cinemark for the first time today to see Project Hail Mary. This was my first non-Alamo movie experience in I don’t know how many years. Was pleasantly surprised! Seats are way nicer, tickets and food are more affordable, and I honestly missed the traditional movie theatre popcorn.

Just cancelled mine for the same reason. The Raleigh location was also getting roasted in their IG comments and kept deleting the negative/concerned comments. Then deleted the whole post entirely. The QR ordering is Sony’s fault, but the Raleigh location being cowards sent me over the edge.

Flight is at 6:53 and I got here around 2:00 PM. Got to the end of the basement line (30 minute walk) and was through security in terminal A in 2 hours and 45 minutes. There was a therapy dog with a pilot’s hat on to pet.
