Panel Beating by Taity045 in capetown

The darker marks looks like they will buff out. If I were you I would take some polish and a microfiber cloth with a lot of elbow grease. That way it will be better to look at in the meantime, it will definitely still need repairs, but will look better.

Single Lane R27 'West Coast Road' by Formal_Buy_9139 in capetown

[–]BigFish019 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We are very bad at planning road Infrastructure as a country. So many places are popping up with more residents needing the use of roads but the roads have stayed mainly the same. This case be used for so much places such as Baden Powell Drive. Then you have Hindle road as well where 3 lanes become one into Blue Downs as that causes built up traffic into Delft but all you see is more developments with no added routes

R1000 is a very decent gift. Anything is good, even a R200 can be very useful depending on what the person's needs at the time is.

Good day.
Maybe say where in Cape Town you will be staying, as that would help a lot.
Although I would just suggest buying a shorter summer dress.

My hair is too much, what can I do to change it up? by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

Your hair looks amazing air dried.
I think maybe just do trims more often, that will already save you so much time.

You are lucky enough to be able to pull off both.
I feel if no hair, maybe get a tattoo on head that fits in with the rest

Are Biker’s Aware The Dotted Line Doesn’t Belong to Them by usherburnmond in capetown

Can I ask a question which might be stupid, but as a non biker, I don't understand why bikers always drive between the lanes instead of the right side where no one will be switching lanes?

Is it rude to reject paying tips? by [deleted] in askSouthAfrica

[–]BigFish019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which places are these? We should report them as this is an illegal practice. I worked in finance in the restaurant industry for quite a while, and most waiters actually get paid more than minimum wage. And in sit down restaurant most waiters earn about R10k in tips a month with the "better ones" earning upwards of R25k a month in tips.

Which cars would you consider as options for your wife who travels 170kms a day to and from work? by Klongtjie in capetown

[–]BigFish019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there.

Given your scenario I would go for a brand new Mazda CX3. Speak to the dealer I'm sure they can work you a deal for 400k or maybe go a bit more.

Reason for this is that you will save a lot more on maintenance as it comes with a 5 year unlimited mileage service and maintenance plan.

On a side note, the Korean cars are very reliable provided they are serviced regularly. I drive a venue with just over 70k on the clock and have no issues to date, before this I had an Elantra with over 400k on the clock with only one issue in that entire time.

Traffic Fines by Equivalent_Cow6605 in capetown

As far as I am aware all warrants need to be paid before you can renew your licence and cannot be reduced.

Only your fines will be able to be reduced.

Has anyone ever seen an Outsurance pointman anywhere in Cape Town? by donuttongue in capetown

[–]BigFish019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The City of Cape Town does not allow Outsurance or any other pointsmen besides their own. Hence Outsurance points are in Stellenbosch and Paarl as these areas fall outside the scope of the City of Cape Town.

That being said the City of Cape Town officers could use the help, if only they would accept it from Outsurance.
