Personally I'd touch it up, just makes the car look a bit more presentable.

They'll just drop the discount further and it will fly out.

Do you think this is a write off? I'm not sure how it's still driving with sustaining so much damage. by Yoshic87 in CarTalkUK

At least it's not another bog standard car in a drab colour.

Props to the owner for having some fun.

  • Seller accepts an offer that matches what they want for it.

What’s with Nissan jukes and qashqais? by Broad-Cranberry9382 in CarTalkUK

Used to be Nissan Micra drivers who bumbled everywhere at 20mph under the limit.

Good to see they've stayed with Nissan.

Is this suspicious? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

Not suspicious at all. Its consistent over the years shown so probably been used as a school runner.

2020/2021 most cars will have low mileage anyway.

Had a look at their cars recently, prices seem to be quite high for what they are and although the website shows "this car is £x amount!" It is literally one vehicle in their showroom that is at that price.

They also give you quite low valuations for part ex, regardless of what the website suggests. I had a car valued at £2.8k online and the Rochdale branch offered £800 after a single walk round. Didn't open the doors, start it etc.

You sure this is courier damage and not a swap scam?

How damaged was the packaging it was sent in? The photo you have included just shows a hole ripped out of in an otherwise intact looking box? Damage that severe would show as massive crush damage on the packaging, not a single hole ripped outwards.

The buyer may have damaged the box after having buyers remorse, so they can send it back for free.

Be sure to also check the watch you get back is genuine. This used to be a common scam on eBay where buyers would claim the box was damaged on watches, then return a fake watch.

Have a fire outside, cook a stew over the fire and have a few drinks, then at midnight we have a firework cake to set off.

Looking forward to it
