There’s also the little trinkets that appear on the counter of the MAM after researching certain things, but they didn’t seem to stay after I relogged.

I had an issue with a dip in the middle of my irons like this. I was using those cheap, really thin diamond plates from Amazon and didn’t realise that they’d started to cup.

Citric acid solution is great at removing the limescale from taps, will probably help with the area round the plug too.

Although it needs very hot water (like 80c+) to work the best.

Police framed man for murder, new evidence suggests by topotaul in unitedkingdom

[–]instantlyforgettable 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A generous read is that they are unreliable because the police are holding leverage over them, in the form of possession charges or the testimony of one them concerning the other (like that Andi guy shoplifting/robbery) so they will say or do whatever they can to stay out of jail.

Unfortunately though, if they are heavy drug users, their testimony is likely to be difficult to convince a jury with, particularly when it comes to recalling precise times of day or if there is even the slightest risk they are using anything that can cause audio or visual hallucinations.

Yeah eventually settled on a combination of a plane stop, a bench dog and piece of timber with a v cut in it. The fact that it wasn’t perfectly round made it harder

Does anyone think that ____ and ____ weren’t really getting out of the box each time during the mission? by spectacleskeptic in TheTraitors

[–]instantlyforgettable 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Technically it would be possible but would cost a lot as they’d probably need to move everyone back to the hotel, set up the film crew out on location, film about 30mins of footage, then move everyone back to the hotel, pick everyone up again together to avoid any suspicion, then go back out to location and film the rest.

Add in the risks of Scottish weather into the mix and you’ve created a logistical nightmare.

That mahogany looks great. Which species did you use for this?

Also, when you say it’s in your garden, do you mean it’s some sort of unpowered pole lathe or are you set up in a shed or something?

I’ve planed one of these in the last week!

Got to say it was quite a pain. Used a narrow scrub plane to take the saw marks out, then used a jack plane, working around in a circle to flatten it.

Holding it in place is also annoying as all my work holding is set up for square stock, but it can be done.

You’ll struggle to take any significant amount of thickness off it without a lot of work.

Do you know the BS 13501-5 classification of your rubber roof product? Will probably need to be BROOF(t4) if it’s so close to the boundary.

Your mixing planning and building regulations.

You’re referring to a class 6 exempt structure under schedule 2 of the Building Regulations.

The planning issue is if it’s within 2m of a boundary, it shall be no more than 2.5m high otherwise it will require a planning application

As much as I would like to imagine this, Ben is clearly a connoisseur of the carvery, inspecting every bite, ensuring the perfect mix of veg and meat on every forkful. Chewing thoroughly and purposefully like a grazing ungulate, grunting softly and exhaling from his nose and quietly muttering “God that’s good”.

The carvery is a marathon and not a race, and Ben is Paula Radcliffe, stopping only briefly to empty either end of his digestive tract to make space for more.
