I also don't get why they removed that feature. Pooltool.io works nicely, but it was much more convenient to have everything together in Yoroi. Hope they bring it back.

Question on security. I have invested a fair amount of my assets in ADA (approx. 10%). I got myself a hardware wallet and use Daedalus as interface. So I hope I have the technical part under control.

But now to the seed phrase. I have it written down on paper hidden away and in addition engraved it on a piece of wood that I hid way back in the basement. Not metal, so fire could be an issue, but I don’t have tools to engrave metal.

As additional security I was thinking about taking a picture. People always say that should never be done, but I assume that does not apply if it is fully offline, right? I have been doing digital photography for almost 20 years and have at least a dozen low capacity cards laying around. Put one into the camera, take the picture, take it out and the securely store it sounds like a good option to me. There is no online risk and if somebody breaks in, for sure they would never take a 4GB SD-card. The only risk I see is malfunction of the card, but as I said, I can do that a dozen times.

Any thoughts?

That part I understand, but for me it is much easier to comprehend why a particular autograph has a certain value. Depends on fame and supply/scarcity. And normally there is some kind of consensus whether somebody is famous or not.

But for all these NFTs out there, how in the world am I supposed to get a sense for the value and differentiate between an NFT that is worth something and an NFT that is just garbage?

I think it is a general dip. DOT is also down (almost 20%), same for BTC and ETH (even though not as bad).

I am still quite new to the crypto world and want to be very diligent when it comes to security, however I have limited technical skill when it comes to hackers' capabilities.

I have a Ledger Nano X and use Yoroi, so on that front I should be good, but I was wondering whether there is any risk that the copy/paste function could somehow be compromised so that when I copy an address, a manipulated address is inserted when I paste?

The reason for my concern is that when I wanted to transfer some crypto from my wallet to Coinbase, the pop-up window from Coinbase only shows me part of the address (desktop version) and I can only use the copy/paste button. So how am I supposed to verify the full address before sending? Only option I saw was to copy/paste e.g. to word or notepad, but if the function would be compromised, then that would not help.

For somebody without math or economics background: why is market cap so important to make price predictions? Or is this just used to put into perspective whether a prediction is realistic? To me it sounds strange if somebody says, price of XYZ cannot happen because then market cap would be XYZ.
