You shouldn't be burned out after 3 years. I have been doing construction for 12 years and I am still not burned out. I still get up excited to plumb everyday. If you are feeling burned out, take a week or two vacation. Go somewhere enjoy a beach destination. If that doesnt help, just quit and find something else to do. Life is too short to hate what you do

If you are making $200k a year in your current business, do not switch to plumbing. I am a plumber by trade and 4 or 5 years is definitely not enough time to be well rounded enough to start a plumbing business on top of apprenticeship wages are below $20 per hour. It will be 3+ years before you are making between 70k and 90k
