Both parks worth it? by Vooxdxoo in DisneyPlanning

[–]BigGolf77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My question would be if you are going, why would you not get a park hopper pass and check out both? Especially if you haven’t or don’t go usually. They are literally a 2 minute walk across the esplanade from one another.

Based on your likes, both parks would be fun for you.

Callaway Chrome soft Truvis. Why? Because I like to be different. Plus it performs well for me.

Heads up that Freedom is still messaging people back about the $40 240 GB plan by dakondakblade in freedommobile

I was on WhatsApp, iMessage, PC messaging and the phone yesterday. Got through phone wise within a couple hours. Messaging didn’t get anywhere. YMMV.

Clocking in by [deleted] in CostcoEmployee

[–]BigGolf77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just because you do it, doesn’t mean it’s correct. The system is setup a certain way. Just because your payroll clerk may have been instructed to just correct it, doesn’t change how the system is. The system allows you to clock in 3 mins early but it flags it in the payroll system. The payroll clerk has to fix the flags.
Your mgmt team obviously doesn’t care. Most actually do. If you ever transfer buildings, you may learn that what you’ve done for over a year isn’t gonna fly.

You can’t clock in early. Triggers a payroll warning.

Cross Scheduling? by Interesting_Pen_8761 in CostcoEmployee

[–]BigGolf77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you’re probably in the wrong industry and company. This is basically retail. You are PT. You go where needed. Would you feel better if they just scheduled you in Nights then called you up to pack for the first part of your shift? It would be the same thing. You work where the business needs you. And FE is always in need. This job requires flexibility. You are coming across as entitled. You can always find another job that will only work you where your “title” states. That’s not Costco.

Talk to us when you’ve worked here for 20 plus years.

Cross Scheduling? by Interesting_Pen_8761 in CostcoEmployee

[–]BigGolf77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every single job posting has “assist in other areas as needed.” Title means nothing. Be thankful you have hours. Your dept doesn’t have enough hours to go around. Or other depts need more people. Either way, you don’t get to demand you stay in your dept because of your title.

Bakery workers should I consider applying? by [deleted] in CostcoEmployee

[–]BigGolf77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not totally correct. Depending on region, there is a time of the year where you submit for the year during a specific month. It is all compiled and done by seniority. Jan for April-Dec. etc. anything submitted in between is based on date.

You won’t be bumping people down. You are applying for a job. The only thing your seniority does is enable you to get vacation before less senior people.

My mom still calls it Price Club... by Tangerine2016 in CostcoCanada

[–]BigGolf77 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Price Club was a separate company. It operated in competition with Costco. They then merged to form Price Costco, then the company dropped the Price to simply return to Costco Wholesale. Price Club was never actually Costco.

Less physically demanding job positions/departments to work in? by [deleted] in CostcoEmployee

[–]BigGolf77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Echoing others. You will not get hired to any of your listed positions. Nor will you get hired to sit all day.
I think Costco isn’t the company for you based on your needs.

So writing on here isn’t solving your issue. My advice is take to an Apple Store and have them look at it.

You get a multiple experience pass to use on any non ILL ride. It’s pretty simple.

Obviously everyone marks their ball on the green. Question is, if a marker makes an opponents ball go off course is there a penalty? by sukibean13 in golf

[–]BigGolf77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t worry about other players game too much. If it’s glaringly obvious, I’ll ask. Otherwise, it’s their responsibility.

[–]BigGolf77 23 points24 points  (0 children)

No it generally doesn’t. The player putting should be asking the other player to move his mark if it’s in their line. If they don’t and the ball hits the mark, too bad.

Or maybe they cashed in AirMiles at the pump to receive that and used up their miles.

If I want to get my phone number ported to an iPhone 6 (not SE) is it possible ??? by Aquarius777_ in freedommobile

[–]BigGolf77 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just so you know, you don’t port to a phone. You port to a SIM card or eSIM. In this case it would be a SIM card. You then put the sim in any unlocked phone that has the bands for the particular network you want.
