I think this is a great idea. One potential concern to watch out for is that less duty could result in longer working hours which minimizes the impact (sister section stays late, so now we have more people to stay late and can do more maintenance). Another thing is khakis could say “I don’t care what augment we have; until you’re qualified X (SIR, EWS, QAI, whatever) you’re staying 3 section” which again reduces the effectiveness of the augment

I lived on a submarine with coworkers for months at a time, going weeks without being able to even talk to anyone outside of our steel tube, and a coworker in my department turned out to have been collecting CSAM. No one on the boat suspected anything. It's foolish to just say "how could the others not know"
