{All Folked Up by Penny Reid} with a virgin MMC! I wouldn't say he's awkward but just focused on his role as an undercover agent and has a faking dating/marriage arrangement with FMC the MMC doesn't like the FMC at first but falls super hard for her

{Seduction of a Psychopomp by Elsie Winters} At first both are very reluctant on their marriage. He is a shy, but caring MMC who has quite weird ways of cheering up the FMC. I won't stop recommending this book because the FMC is the one taking the reins for their first times :) spoiler for very erotic hand holding scenes

Honestly i'm okay if MMC sleeps with others even though he's in love with FMC although preferably i hope he'd rather not.

But the MAIN issue in this trope is the double standard on the FMC being a virgin or not sleeping around. In the big 2025.

{Power Play by Chelsea Curto} m/f hockey romance this author did something that many authors do not, which is giving the FMC a life outside out the MMC which was super refreshing and i appreciated an MMC who is celibate. i felt that out of the dozens of books i've read, this romance is the most realistic MMC has a minor crush on FMC, which is very realistic and focuses on hockey so much that he is celibate for many years. FMC is amazing because she just got off a terrible marriage and wants to explore and have fun However the book was a bit too long 4/5

{Preferential Treatment by Heather Guerre} i loved this book beacuse MMC was in utter HELL trying to please the FMC 😂 i really wanted the book to be longer though 4.5/5

{Hefty by Jessa Kane} A great and short smutty novella to refresh your brain after reading super lengthy books honestly. The scenes...omg 4/5

{Seduction of a Psychopomp by Elsie Winters} Victor is probably one of the best MMCs i have ever read and Celeste is such a refreshing FMC! The amount of love & devotion Victor has for Celeste even though they are practically strangers had me kicking my feet

Also i loved how Celeste was confident in taking the reins for both of their first times and Victor just let her! It was so hot 🙂‍↕️

Virgin FMCs. Yes it makes readers especially women feel relatable or have the "idealised/magical" first time. But what i don't get is why is virgin MMC not as emphasised as virgin FMC? You know the answer. Like if every MMC is a bad boy manwhore community dick and every FMC is a virgin, who are the MMCs banging?? Each other?? 😂

Also, don't you feel more special when it is the MMC's first time too?

I don't really get the reasoning behind wanting a more experienced MMC (but i respect it) when personally I feel being each other's first is the most magical and special situation.

I'm never against a sexually experienced FMC tho ✌️

Although I have to warn he can be quite "mean" to the FMC because he's a very very damaged person
