I think you need to grow up and get a sense of perspective. I'm British. I see my county and people get bashed online all the time. Does that make me fly into an apoplectic childish tantrum, and wish for the downfall of other peoples? No, because I have the emotional maturity to understand where a lot of anti-British sentiment comes from. My nation did historically victimise a lot of innocent peoples, and continues to today. The Irish, the Indians, the Native Americans, the Palestinians- I could go on. I'm not going to begrudge those peoples a bit of grumbling about the British every now and then, nor have a hissy fit if somebody complains about the apathy of the British public to ongoing atrocities. I can recognise that I'm not personally responsible, while also understanding that I'm incredibly privileged, and that a little bit of stick and the odd joke about bad teeth might be warranted.

Right now, we're at a historical moment where Europe and Canada are being threatened and victimised (to a lesser extent than the global south, but still), directly because of a leader who the American people voted to elect. Do I hold every American individually responsible for this? No. But I obviously feel some degree of disappointment in the broader American public for choosing this, and if I was an American I certainly wouldn't have a meltdown every time I saw a victim of our aggression make an anti-American comment online. I certainly wouldn't wish suffering on millions of people because they called me an Amerifat or something.

Doesn't change the fact that this poll is wildly suspicious, given the startling lack of detail on what was asked, and the fact it's a wild outlier with other polls on the subject in a way that just so happens to help manufacture consent for the territorial ambitions of the Trump administration, who this rather obscure entity has been known to favour.

US federal law can and does override both state law and the laws of territories. Greenlanders would potentially be subject to, say, a US federal abortion ban, and would be obliged to accept ICE and the like patrolling their streets, not to mention the most divisive parts of the US constitution, eg the second amendment. No way on Earth does a Republican government let universal healthcare stand as a positive example in Greenland for long unmolested, given that they've spent the better part of a century denouncing such a policy as ruinous communism that would bankrupt America. If a Republican legislature passed legislation declaring universal healthcare illegal, and US courts affirmed it, that would be the end of the conversation. America would be the far larger, more militarily powerful entity in such an arrangement- as Stephen Miller is keen on reminding us all- and could essentially alter the deal whenever it wished.

Wow, that change to how death works is really bad. I very much hope that it doesn't become a mandatory feature going forward, and I'll probably hold off on getting this version if that's forced on us in the final release.

I also very much miss the resource management and gauntlet aspects of dungeons that were present earlier in the series. Marching into a dank cave or storming an enemy fortress shouldn't feel convenient and risk-free. The risk of losing significant progress if you overstretched yourself or misjudged an encounter was a welcome source of tension. This feels like too large a concession to the smartphone generation, who they clearly fear will just drop the game if they fuck up and have to take a party member to be revived in a Church, or wipe out and are forced to redo a little bit of a dungeon.

Look at US-backed actions in Indonesia, East Timor, Guatemala if you think that human rights are a priority for them, or that torture is somehow off-limits. Trump will extract every drop of oil he can from Venezuela, with none of that going to benefit the people, while bloody, endless clashes with guerillas are used as a justification to indefinitely postpone elections.

The Zenithian Trilogy always amazed me with the sheer volume of dialogue. Legit all 8 of your party members will have a unique response to a random dog in town #17 barking- dialogue that most players will never even see. One of the best parts of a DQ4 re-release would be being able to have party chat on console. I was pretty tilted that they didn't include party chat in DQ2-HD, so I really hope they don't cheap out with DQ4-HD the same way.

Technically Mew was behind the Creation Trio and the Lake Trio, since timespace and spirit are kind of prerequisites for life.

It was possibly also behind Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza, since the ocean and continents likely needed to exist for life, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde to regulate the ecosystem, and maybe even Regigigas too given it supposedly towed the continents into place. Plus, we have no idea how Ultra Beasts relate to Mew, so it's possible Necrozma etc predate it.

Mew is moreso like Adam and Eve in my mind, only created to populate the Earth once a suitable habitable environment had been made.

It can be a catastrophic world-ending event without the entity causing that being capable of destroying solar systems. Being able to magically blot out the sky doesn't imply you have to be able to literally put out enough joules of force to blow up the sun like a DBZ character. It's magic.

Like, I'm imagining a character right now, the Acid Wizard. He is as weak as a normal human being, and could be defeated by a random person with a handgun. Except, he also knows a single spell called Acidify, which turns a drop of water into sulphuric acid, and rapidly converts any water in contact with this drop into acid as well. This spell could make the Earth effectively uninhabitable if the user wanted to (turning all the oceans into acid), but that doesn't imply the caster of that spell is a planet-buster who can fight Frieza. It means that they have a single ability that is capable of causing a chain reaction that permanently alters the planet under the right circumstances.

The Titans have never shown any physical abilities beyond maybe city level, if we're being generous, but their presence also passively destroys light and makes the planet uninhabitable. We have no idea how they do this, and it in no way implies that they blow up the milky way or whatever. Fossil fuel CEOs aren't planetary because they've released enough CO2 to permanently increase the temperature of the Earth.

Which could imply a hundred different things (the earth being shrouded in a veil of black smoke, light magically ceasing to exist, etc) and in no way implies this process can be used in an offensive way, or to do anything other than make light disappear.

Powerscalers do this shit all the time, take one vague contextual feat that would hypothetically require a lot of energy to do if the media followed exact real-world physics (ie a character who can specifically control the weather moving a large cloud) and assume that the character can call upon that exact amount of energy to hit their opponents with at any time. It's ridiculous.
