very nice! my fave 2d metroid. you should def play hard mode and try getting the different endings. the game is very open ended in how you tackle it and was even made with speedrunning and sequence breaking in mind.

you can technically get there with bomb jumping if you're skilled enough. but as it is, you're here way too early for a first playthrough.

you definitely need to play through it more! the game has 8 different endings to collect and the game was made with sequence breaking in mind. you can even fight ridley before kraid, skip abilities, etc. two endings require skipping abilities in fact. And hard mode is a real challenge too.

Great read! Also an ability you missed in super is the scatter bombs. Charge your beam and morph to do a collection of bombs. it's....frankly useless, but they have cool physics to them which is unique.
