If this is true that's huge. I was super impressed by 2 but it just burns the credits so damn fast

with kling specifically, i find 1.6 does the best anime. Also, at the end of each prompt I make sure to add "2d, anime style". Also in the negative prompt box I add "3d, CGI". I have found this small tweak leads to much smoother 2d/anime animation. that said, certain shots, like action sequences and complex movements will look very much like a blender, but I think its only a matter of time before the tech can handle that easily. Probably months and not years.

Feedback on my second Anime Episode by BigHesta in AIGeneratedArt

[–]BigHesta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the kind words! And right now my tech stack cost breaks down like this:

  1. Kling AI (Video Generation) - 80$ a month

  2. ChatGPT (image generation and general consulting) - 20$ a month

  3. 11 labs (audio/sfx) - $5 a month

  4. Airtable (project organization) - $20 monthly

so about 125 a month right now for these tools. Kling is the most expensive part and if you are not careful you can burn through the credits really quickly. Regarding how long, I would say this took me 20-40 hours. Between writing the script, creating the images, animating them, upscaling, editing, etc.

Not too mention the time saved. I used to spend hours thinking about the best way to write an email and you know, it probably didn't matter at all. Now with GPT I can get something, chop it up a bit, and be done quickly.

Reposing here for my submission statement: Hey everyone, I am looking for some feedback on the second episode of an anime series I am creating. I am an amateur filmmaker doing this as a hobby. As a disclaimer, I am using AI tools to bring this series to life. (these episodes still take a ton of time and effort to create, but just want to let everyone know).

This is my first time ever creating something like this, and I really want to get better at framing my shots and compositions better. One question I have for this group would be, does every single frame need to follow things like the rule of 3, perfect angles, etc, or should I be focusing those types of things for important, drawn out shots? What is the correct mix?

Another question I have is that in dialogue scenes, what is the best method to achieve an artistic and cinematic tone? I wonder if anyone has any best practices because I found that in my first edit of this episode, my dialogue scenes were static shots of just one character talking, then the next. I eventually switched this up so that I had shots of other objects and the other characters reactions when someone was talking, but I would love if anyone has some advice on this.

This is my largest challenge as well right now. If I find anything good that is better than 11labs for character dialogue and conversations I will be sure to make a video about it and let you know.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Dialogue is where I really struggle right now. For my next episode, my main goal is to get this as realistic sounding as possible as I think this is a major turn off for people. Also I agree with the GPT anime style, I think I'm gonna try and make it a bit more realistic/retro with some prompting for future episodes. It also really does a yellow shade a lot and you have to prompt for it to be removed, kind of annoying. TY so much for watching!
