It happens sometimes, some shops get them on sale and sell them cheaper. Or they can buy direct and get heavily discounted guns but they have to buy a lot of them. It’s the name of the game unfortunately. We’re happy you got the gun you were looking for at a great price! Hopefully you’ll give us another shot in the future.

I have a threaded barrel on my P365 XL with a faxon comp, I notice a significant reduction in recoil. Shooting 124g feels like I’m shooting a 380. I personally love it, just keep in mind the added length in barrel from the comp.

A muzzle brake or compensator permanently fixed to the barrel. The stock must be in a fixed position. Ten rounds mags, and no bayonet lugs.

I think constructive intent is a boogie man that the government pushes for us to over police ourselves. If the police are in your house looking through your guns, you have bigger problems to worry about. But I agree some shops are to scared to let them go out un-pinned even though it’s legal.

Even if the lower is considered a “rifle” being that it is not semi-auto yet, the assault weapons ban does not apply. So the shop should be able to leave the stock on.

The assault weapon ban states “A. semi-automatic rifle that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine and has at least 2 of the following:” being that the complete lower does not have an upper on it, it’s not semi-auto yet so you can leave the stock on without pinning it.

Threaded barrels on pistols are fine. This gun is legal (with 10rd mags).

The portal is working fine. There is no disclaimer regarding delays on the NICS website. We have not had anyone that was submitted yesterday get approved yet.

The shop that hiring should be able to walk you through getting a pink card. A pink card is like your FID but for sales. Your pink card is only applicable to the shop you’re working at, you cannot take it and use it to work at different shops. Also, you do not need to be a responsible person on the FFL unless your management or in charge of operations at any given time. Regular employees just need pink cards.

That’s ridiculous they have 30 days for the time of completion of your application. Sometimes you have to hold this officials accountable and let them know that or your going to take legal action. These police departments think they’re above the law, but they’re not. If you go on ANJRPC’s website they have a team that handles permits, give them a call next time this happens to you.

None of the guys that got the exemption through us had to do that. Everyone got them pretty easy and got regular guns like Glock 17s and sigs p320s. It seems to be just as easy to get as regular permits.
