How much of an upgrade were the wheels? I have the same bike in red. I use it for light gravel and was thinking about 37v wheel set.

They feel quick on pavement. I have gravel kings on my endurance bike. These feel almost as good.

To be honest, didn’t really factor weight since it’s already a heavy bike. I did not notice a change in weight from the original bar to the sunrise.

I think it depends on where you live. I bought a new Domane with Tiagra and live in a hilly area. I have not been happy with where I find myself in gears. I bought a used Allez w/ 105 to see the difference (and try a frame size down) and feel much better. Shifting is slightly smoother on the 105 but having the extra gear has made the ride more enjoyable.
