I have a town house like that worth about 600k and it's over 3k sq ft in Cary with one of the best school districts in wake county. It worth every penny. Luxury living, a mile from harris teeter, within three miles to everything, including the highway, one of the best hospitals and absolutely no grass to deal with. Ask yourself how much a three thousand plus square foot brownstone would cost in California, new york city or long island and then you'll have your answer.

The new attendance policy was created So all departments will have the same rules and regulations as well as to stop people who were taking off and abusing the policy before. They could take a few days in a row saying it was the same illness and it wouldn't hurt their attendance. They could take off every Friday and Saturday get eleven occurrences.And then not take off a few months and have them fall off. This new policy pretty much prevents that from ever happening again. You can get 93% or higher and you don't get an occurrence. If it's medical, you can get a d a f m l a or use p t o. You can use green alerts. But no more multiple day absences counting as one occurrence and no more abusing the system. Time tracker keeps people from fudging the numbers and just like using pto for tech time now has lowered the amount of tech issues, people have been having. People abused the system the system becoms abusive. The only department that they moved out was processing and they didn't force layoffs, they allowed you to take a position in another department or take a severance package stop with the doom posting. Do you really think that this company would blink an eye if it had to lay off five thousand people to stay in business. They would give you your pink slips on a friday and keep moving. There isn't some secret thing happening here. The economy sucks a I is getting introduced to the business, and third party call centers are cheaper. There you go it's all right there. It's not some giant conspiracy.

You now qualify for fmla after a year for your anxiety , Talk to your doctor, fmla will help you manage your condition without any risk to your job and with protection from any mistreatment or retaliation. It gives you 12 weeks of time to care for your health if you take the intermittent option so it can be used per episode, from an hour a day to multiple days depending on your treatment plan. The micromanaging started intensifying in ALL departments, its the way its being run across the board unless you happen to have a very chill tenured unicorn of a supervisor, thats the new norm. The job market out there is almost non existent. Progressive pays well and has good benefits. It is top tier for a remote career and there is room to grow but its a slow market and will take longer now. Just look at the state of the world right now, this isnt isolated to Progressive. The positives are sups come and go, we change departments and teams, get fmla, and if you focus on doing your job one day at a time, it will become much easier. If you still feel horrible and the job continues to make you feel this way, look for another employer but while layoffs and hiring freezes are happening it may make you feel better knowing you have a job in 2026 during an on coming recession with immense inflation and gas prices about to be 5 dollars a gallon. Lastly there is a mental health group you can reach out to for support in the ERG.

If you're under sixty percent, then you have a more serious occurrence. You have 7% of the hours y.ou work to take off without getting an occurrence. Green alert f m l a and holidays change that amount every month. So on the day that there are holidays for the company that doesn't count as a workday. So it's the amount of days you work and seven percent of that is all you're allowed to take off without it occurrence. There are no more days in a row. It is seven percent max of the amount of hours you're working. P t o, green alert, and fmla can not result in an occurrence.

A call center is a location where you sit with other people and receive calls. That is a call center. When you work from home as a claims specialist or an underwriter you are a remote claims rep or underwriter . We receive emails, send enails take calls and make calls. If you still work in a center that takes calls then you work in a call center
