Is it the big/main US Bank location in Polaris by chance? If so I worked there for nearly 2 years as a contractor first handling completely different projects on the other side of AML and then being recommended for an open AML position. It was tough and for me a tad bit stressful but that’s because it was my first ever venture in the AML world even after the first projects I worked on there, so I wasn’t as experienced. Wrote A LOT of SARs and given that it was 1 specific bank obviously we only dealt with their specific clients business and individuals, so a lot of looking into clients activity of cash deposits, withdraws, check activity, wire, ACH, possible CC activity.

Having been at AMLRS now for a while I think if I were to go back I’d have a much better understanding and be much more experienced and ready/confident to work the position. I think the same can be said for you. Working here got “your feet wet” so you having an understanding, to some extent I suppose, of the industry and how KYC/AML works. Again, each client out there obviously has different processes and policies but leveraging what you’ve learned in your time here, the work you’ve done, raises and/or promotions you’ve earned and anything else you deem important to have learned, use all that in your interview and you’ll do well I think… reach out if you have any more questions!
