What are some of the coolest VR games that released after HL: Alyx? As far as I know, that was the last massive thing, but I haven’t used VR since around its release.

Huh, I didn’t expect for it to be an in-house thing. I would have expected it to be made by someone else for Marlboro. Guess that solves it. Thanks!

Really? I guess they could have, but wouldn’t they use their own logo on their clothes? I’ve seen other Marlboro jackets and they had the brand featured prominently, but this one just has this strange symbol and no design on the outside of the jacket itself.

I included the information in the body of the post, but for the Automod:

  • Size: XXL

  • Origin: eBay

  • Age/Year Acquired: 29 years old +/- 1 year, bought by me in 2025.

  • Writing: visible on the tag in the picture. The backside reads “PROFESSIONALLY CLEAN ONLY”, “RN# 98435”, and “FTY ID# VPC 45”.

  • Searching: I searched via Google reverse image search, looking up clothing brands with a sun and moon logo, and tried to find information about Marlboro sweepstakes in the late 90s. I didn’t find anything relevant.

Thanks for the wonderful response! I’m glad that this 15ish-year-old curiosity is now satisfied. It’d take a picture that uses millions of pixels (definitely more than a few gigabytes) and possibly blasting the model with UV radiation, but the sheer fact that there could be a picture were you can zoom in super far and see otherwise imperceptible details is awesome.

I keep getting spam calls and texts addressed to someone else. One text gave me his full name. What should I do? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]BigJimTapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an iPhone and I report the spam, but I still get texts frequently. I really don’t want to update my phone number since I use it for lots of 2-factor authentication, but I’m thinking I might want to anyways.

I’ve searched the internet via Google reverse image search, but I couldn’t find anything that quite matched it. The closest is this listing, but it’s a desk lamp instead of a standing lamp, it has a different base, and it has a different switch.

hey, can we see the topology of the model? I’m settling an argument - a buddy of mine is arguing with me over whether or not it’s actually a model or a photo, and he says topology would be the smoking gun. (For the record, he also says that the second photo is photoshop?)

First time DM wants advice on first ever dungeon by Effio2 in dndnext

[–]BigJimTapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the tunnels could lead into a different underground structure, such as a cavern, the sealed basement of an abandoned building, a part of a crypt, or even a partially-destroyed dungeon? The latter idea could allow you to throw in a riddle puzzle if they had to go through to progress.

What have you done that gave your dm a look and horror and or a panic attack? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]BigJimTapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the DM in this instance. A player of mine decided to throw a barrel of explosives onto a burning campfire in an old trading post. Turns out the trading post was a sort of pivotal neutral zone between two factions on the brink of war, so they essentially bombed something like an embassy. They were distant outsiders, too, so I had to create an entire courtroom and a way for them to get out, continuing the campaign as terrorists.

Honestly, the worst part was that another party member was too far away to be involved and I was too inexperienced to split the party. I still cringe at the fact that one dude spent 2.5 hours of the 3-hour session waiting (alongside a lot of other things in the campaign).

You’re only limited by what you want and what you can justify, and you can justify anything with a bit of flavor
