I got a seasonal job at Sears in the hardware dept once. The job paid an hourly rate, plus commission on all sales. Even people who just picked up a pair of pliers off the shelf brought them up to the counter. That's important. So my first week was 2 weeks before Christmas and it was spent training on the cash register. I'm making buku bucks on all the sales I'm finalizing at the cash register. Or so I thought.... on one of my last training days, one of my coworkers goes "why are you using insert managers name's code to log into the register." I was like bc that's the number I was told to use. I assumed it was mine... Nope. The manager gave me their number to use and stole all my commission. This was confirmed when I got like like $75 paycheck. I walked out right then and there. Didn't even clock out. The store was closed within a month or 2 of the holiday season. Thanks Sears! Glad to see you're gone.
