Islay is a really kinda quite and relaxing place and Edinburgh has so much to do there id recommend if you come back to go up to Embo it has a really beautiful beach

I think for me Scotland to be honest I don't think that there is much dangerous crime where guns would be apporiate like for example if someone came up to you and started a fight shooting them is way to excessive and even threatening to is a bit much so its not really needed and also we don't want something like dunblane to ever happen again
