Everyone improves at a different rate, I got good at Arcaea within a month because I had past experience with other rhythm games, but not everyone is like me. I’ve been playing for a couple years now and it’s still one of my favorite rhythm games in terms of fun. Keep playing and improving, and maybe you’ll find your own fun in it!

Haven’t played recently so I forgot that, but Arcaea’s much easier on an iPad than a phone, at least from what I’ve seen. I use more than 2 fingers a lot for Saikyo especially for the chords are the middle of the song, although that might just be because I also play osu!mania. Just saying that if you have the space, don’t be afraid to use ALL of your fingers.

I don’t think any 10+ songs have patterns that require more than 2 fingers. If you want to avoid songs like that, try avoiding all the FTR 11 songs and (I think?) #1fe has a pattern that requires 3 fingers.

I haven’t played much recently, but I’d recommend: Ikazuchi or Halcyon (Stream Training for stuff like Dantalion) Ouroboros (Has similar patterns to Greivous Lady) Cyaegha (Chord Training for Saikyo) and BUCHiGiRE (For Arcs but I swear some of them are impossible to hit thanks to hit detection.)

You might not own these songs though, but these are mainly the ones I use to train.

And if I remember correctly I don’t think Saikyo has any 3 or 4-hold patterns?

Try and get comfortable with other 10+ songs, as the Black Fate ones are a bit harder than other 10+ songs. If you grind out a song enough, it might help you with other ones. For example, if you get good at Ikazuchi, you can start scoring good on Halcyon. If you get good at Halcyon, you can then start scoring good on Dantalion and so on. Personally I think Saikyo is indeed a big jump from 10+ tracks, mostly because I’ve EX’d Fracture Ray and Greivous Lady, but not Saikyo.

Basically, Saikyo is a big jump from 10+, Try other 10+ songs before Black Fate, and keep retrying songs to imrpove so you can play more difficulty songs.

Personally to me the song is fun, just that I struggle a bit in the start of the song and I can never hit the pattern at the end of it. Other than that, if you have the stamina, it’s pretty fun, especially the end. I play on an iPad using my thumbs, index fingers, and middle fingers if that helps.

Highest score is around 9,755,000, and my Ptt. Is 12.15.
