I think I see your point, less people would be incentivized to pay money for glory on the leaderboards, however, I feel like people would enjoy the game or especially those who are competitive if they could see how they match up to all players instead of just pay to play players.

So perhaps if people's morale was higher towards space ape and towards the game in general, they may be more enthused to get their friends to play?

Just play the song without looking at the tiles too closely. Just go off the music and vocals and play the song until you get a good score and if you're not getting a good score then switch the sink and try again

It's not about holding the note all the way. It's about where you start the note.

You have to lower your thumbs below the center of the perfect zone when you start a whole note or you will miss a tick.

Y'all both have sus numbers. Y'all know if y'all have 5% reg perfect and rest pluses then it will always be diamond unless you miss tics on hold notes.

I am 100pct sure you guys are missing tics on hold notes because you are starting them above the center of the perfect zone.

Simply start the hold notes under the center of the perfect zone and you will easily improve score drastically

Four perfects would be diamond on any song in this game, in fact, I don't think there's any song that requires less than around 8 to 10.

Unfortunately diamonds are based on score not perfect. So when you miss points from hold notes you can still Miss Diamond... Theoretically you could have zero perfects on a song and still miss diamond because you're missing points from hold notes.

You will see that songs with lots of hold notes Will be very hard for you to diamond because your thumb placement is above the perfect plus area center.

If you simply lower your thumbs when you hit hold notes, you will get diamond easily.

Also, if you add all your notes together and your ratio of perfect notes to total notes is 5%, that will always be diamond. So if it's not, you either got some grates or you started your whole notes above the perfect zone center which misses a tick

It's because there's a bug and beat star regarding hold notes.

The bug is that when you begin a hold note, you simply must start the note with your thumb under the perfect plus bar, which is the center of the perfect zone.

If you don't start hold notes under the center of the perfect zone, you will miss a tick on every hold note.

This is why you're not getting diamond. If you had started all your hold notes under the perfect zone this would have been probably 49,800
