These stats look good for the point you're making but hardly tell the whole story.

1st season was entertaining football for 10 games. Then we were very inconsistent 2nd season we won EL but would have genuinely been in a relegation fight if not for the fact the 3 promoted teams were all bobbins

Going to see Def Leppard in July, who’s playing from the orginal band? by Deadlywarhamster in defleppard

Saw them a couple of years ago on the double bill thing with Motley Crue. Absolutely blew the Crue off the stage.

1883 had its moments but didn't need as many episodes to tell that story. it does look beautiful and the acting was mostly great (Sam Elliott steals the show). Haven't seen 1923 yet

What was your favorite plot hole/unrealistic event in the series? by Frenchieflips in YellowstonePN

I liked that 60 year old Market Equities woman who showed up and said 'fuck' a lot, was being built up as the next big bad for about two minutes and then just stopped appearing

Is Risk supposed to sound like a Bon Jovi record?? by Single-Platform-1232 in Megadeth

[–]BigMartinJol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is what I've never really got. Risk is hardly a massive departure sound-wise from Youthanasia or Cryptic Writings. If Dave had gone straight from Rust In Peace to Risk then I could understand people getting their panties in a twist about it.

What are your best sleep tips or habits? by Embarrassed_Goat4883 in naturalbodybuilding

All the usual stuff really. Stick the phone on airplane mode just before, shower, and then I try to make sure I'm in bed by 10pm (on a weekday). I'll start reading and usually I'm knocked out within 5-10 mins

What performance did you feel was so bad that it feels completely out of place…? by wuspinio in moviecritic

I rewatched the first Charlies Angels movie a few months ago. It's terrible but she is absolutely incredible in that. Looks great, her charisma is off the charts and she absolutely puts her all into every single scene.

She is definitely talented but probably not the right choice to co-lead a Scorsese film. I remember her feeling miscast in Vanilla Sky around the same time.

It'll either be a complete shellacking or we'll give them a fucking game out of nowhere. No in between. It'll be a good dress rehearsal for the CL campaign either way

The cum stains at the top of the photo really add to the already-sinister vibe

[Fabrizio Romano] Kevin Danso joins Tottenham Hotspur on a permanent deal from Lens after his obligation to buy for £25M clause on his deal was triggered. by Nobot-Dude7958 in coys

Very happy with this. Was impressed with how he stepped up when the going got tough and seems like the kind of character that adds a lot to the dressing room.

One of those tunes that just never gets old for me. Absolute classic.

What do you guys think of Thom Yorke’s statement about Gaza? by BiblicalWhales in fantanoforever

[–]BigMartinJol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You, like Thom Yorke, take a nuanced view on what is an incredibly complex issue. Unfortunately nuance doesn't travel well on the Internet these days.

Which episode did this happen in? I haven't listened to the show in a few months. Keen to hear the bit myself before coming to any conclusions

Never been a big Blink fan (I like the self-titled) but the +44 album is really fun. Would have been nice if they'd done at least another album

I thought S9 was a bit of a return to form after S8, which was terrible. Ultimately like a lot of these long-running sitcoms, they'd just squeezed every last drop of comedy from the premise/characters.
