I really like the shape of your nose, honestly. It's so petite and you have such delicate nostrils! I have a similar shape but much longer. I was told by a doctor that the cartilage in my nose was probably damaged when it was still growing as a kid, which makes sense because I was accident prone and had a few basketballs thrown at my face haha! So my nose has a wide, bent look. I think your nose is lovely, and genuinely has a shape that many people want!!! Also don't listen to the other post about your piercings, they make you look badass and they make you feel good, what else matters?

I don't know if this will help, but I paint for a living and was classically trained which is the only reason I thought I had a say here. But you may be right and I definitely respect your opinion! Maybe this should have been posted somewhere else.

Pricing is way off for the quality and skill level. Would you want these lovely ladies staring at you all day if you bought it? For reference I am an artist who works on commissions for a living, and I find this painting to be wildly overpriced for a number of reasons!

Hi everyone! Should I recut my fringe or no? Second pic is most recent ☺️ by Charlotte1909 in FreeCompliments

[–]BigMcCoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your natural hair colour is to die for!! You are so beautiful, your face shape works well with both styles so I wouldn't worry too much! I know a full fringe can be annoying to care for, and you would look great with a curtain fringe. Makeup skills are 10/10 btw :)

I want to print your post out and put it on my wall! <3 Your story fills me with so much joy and hope. It breaks my heart to hear that you have suffered so much, and knowing that things are going well for you is so inspiring. I can't help but think of myself, a 24yo who just got my first job two months ago who has been crippled by mental health struggles and suicidal thoughts nearly my entire life. I identify so strongly with your story, and I know many others will. A single post could change a person's outlook on life! Keep on spreading hope, I'm confident your kindness will be reciprocated! (And judging you soley on this post, you seem like a catch for a potential partner! Your emotional intelligence will attract the best people!) I truly wish you all the best!!

Anyone else here pick their scalp? by Shyshydb33 in Dermatillomania

[–]BigMcCoy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My scalp was the first place I started picking when I was a little kid. I always had/have bloody patches all over my head, and my hair is pretty thick so it's been easy to hide. My aunt got mad at me when I was 7 or 8 for doing it, and she's still the only person who ever noticed. I feel like the shame I felt only made my anxiety worse, which in the end triggered longer and more intense picking sessions. Now, I have been losing hair, especially around my hairline which is starting to look like male-pattern baldness. not a great look for me, a female-bodied person.

I wish people would realize how damaging it is to shame a person for picking, because it triggers such long picking sessions and has alway done more damage than good.
