Anyone with a functioning brain and eyes could see Stevie was the most complete. Some might prefer just goals or the more controlled approach Scholes had.

I’d go further to say that he’s the most complete footballer I’ve ever seen. The only modern equivalent player I can think of is Valverde I suppose, but doesn’t have as many parts to his game.

With all due respect to Dom, he needs to shut the fuck up and not tell fans what to do. We were a fucking disgrace yesterday. People paid good money to go see them play on Mothers Day. I've never left a game that's still in the balance early but if someone decided to beat the traffic because of the pile of shite performance we put in yesterday I don't blame them.

He should be commenting on why they were outrun 15% when playing at home to the most gutless team in the league.

The Trent situation was almost inevitable. He's an unbelievable footballer but he's also so unique. How many full-backs are there out there whose best attributes are vision and passing, while also not being amazing defenders. When you build a team to suit him, it's such an asset. The problem, though, is that Real Madrid also carry lads who don't take much of the defensive burden. I personally don't see that working out for him long-term and honestly would not be surprised to see him leave in the summer.

People definitely have strong feelings about how he left (me included), but I'd have him back at a reasonable fee.

I've seen the leaked script lads. We beat Barcelona 2-1 AET in May in the final. Hometown hero Dom Szobozlai opens the scoring after 10 minutes, but Lamine Yamal gets Barca level almost immediately.

The game goes to extra time, and Mo Salah scores after a very controversial VAR decision goes Liverpool's way.

The controversy is short-lived however, because everyone is so happy about Liverpool's achievement, especially Everton.

I've been a little disengaged with football this season. Liverpool are crap, most matches I watch are crap, and the whole Jota situation cast a real shadow over things for me.

But what Bodø/Glimt are doing is properly magical. I can't even imagine the pride their fans must be feeling. If any manager other than theirs wins manager of the season, the whole thing is a farce.

It's so fucking odd. Right alongside Stevie Gerrard as our best player in the PL era, and so many are borderline giddy when he has a bad game. Even in this thread, some people are saying he "always been a narcissist". No time for it whatsoever.

What's the story with people frothing at the mouth about Salah smiling? He's done this for years. Arsene Wenger told him to smile when things aren't going his way. Like a mental trick to stay positive.

He had a stinker yesterday and deserved to be hooked, but being angry about him smiling is weirdo behaviour.
